Position Control Controller for Ultrasonic Motors [PSMC-RP1] 

A highly implementable and flexible position control solution optimized for prototype and development applications 
PSMC-RP1 is a position control controller dedicated to ultrasonic motors that supports the implementation of highly accurate position and angle control in R&D institutes and prototype development sites. PSMC-RP1 is a position control controller dedicated to ultrasonic motors.

By connecting with our PSMD-PCC series ultrasonic motor drivers, the PSMC-RP1 facilitates the start-up of a position control system, which is difficult with a motor alone, and allows smooth progress from prototyping to evaluation and equipment mounting.
 

  • Supports simultaneous control of up to 2 axes: Flexible control system construction by supporting PC and microcomputer control

  • Supports homing by limit sensor input, making it suitable for mounting on portable mechanisms and stage equipment

  •  Intuitive operability allows even engineers new to ultrasonic motors to introduce and evaluate in a short period of time

This controller is ideal for prototype machines and special equipment, taking advantage of the features of ultrasonic motors, such as low-speed high torque, holding power, and quiet operation.
PSMC-RP1 contributes to shorter evaluation periods and greater freedom in mounting design, greatly improving development efficiency from prototyping to small-scale mass production.

What PSMC-RP1 can do

Position and angle control of single-axis stages such as X-axis and dual-axis devices such as XY stage and X-theta stage

Ability to set acceleration/deceleration and maximum speed of devices and move to target position and angle with minimal speed fluctuation

Emergency stop and origin setting using limit sensors (switches) of gimbals and other devices (external) Remote monitoring of equipment operation status using a connected PC or microcomputer module

Commands set by PC or microcomputer module are saved in PSMC-RP1 main unit for repeated operation
